• Downtown Sees Sharp Uptick in Public Camping Arrests

Pray for our brothers and sisters on the streets.

It’s not okay that our downtown parks and riverbanks are littered with garbage & human waste. It’s not okay that in the richest nation in the world, people are living outside. It’s not okay that some aren’t willing to take responsibility for choices made. And, yet, Christ forgives. There is always another chance.

We’re ready to help people get back to work. We’re ready to help people get into housing. We’re ready to invite people into the Body of Christ. We’re ready to help people live as humans again.

Pray that those on the streets are given the bravery needed to come see us for help.

Pray that those who are too busy find the time to be the Church in the world.

Lord, in your mercy. Hear our prayer.

  • This morning, we had a little over 15 interactions. Each person got supplies & an invitation to join us. Two people got supplies to care for some open wounds. — Thank you for helping us to share the Good News of Christ’s reign with our brothers & sisters. You are truly making a difference!
