Praise God! — Because of the work and support we were able to provide him, one of our apprentices is now off the streets and safely housed with his sister.
The warmth we showed him when we met him downtown drew him to our doors. The love of Christ’s church encouraged him to make big changes. The work we provided him gave him the ability to get a phone, reconcile with family, and get off the streets.
I know the mostly empty Wednesdays, the early Saturdays, the waiting, the wondering are all hard. But, when we wait on the Lord, He comes through every time. Patiently standing by his side, we are graced with seeing His marvelous hand at work.
