• Building Update ⛪️

We are excited to announce that we have finalized our meeting place!

Starting June 21 we will begin meeting in the basement of First Wesleyan Church in East Nashville.

More updates and details are to come this week all over the website to reflect our new location.

For now, you can pencil in Wednesday, June 21 at 6:30p as our first service of Evening Prayer. (Further details will follow.)

Also, keep your eyes open for an opportunity to come help us clean up the basement and get things ready.

Thanks for your prayers as we’ve worked to get this rolling. It’s been a long road and we are excited to get to work in the garden God has given us!

  • Evening Prayer 🙏

East Nashville folk! In a few weeks, we’ll begin meeting for Evening Prayer at 6:30p on Wednesday evenings.

Evening Prayer is open to the community and does not require volunteering as a mentor our entering our apprenticeship program.

Keep your eyes open for an official announcement here soon and be ready to share this with your neighbors.

  • News 📰: We are now fully insured!

This was the final step before we can sign our lease and announce our meeting place.

Please keep us in your prayers as we finalize our lease agreement and begin planning our launch date.

  • Almighty and everlasting God, look upon the Heart of Thy well-beloved Son and upon the acts of praise and satisfaction which He renders unto Thee in the name of sinners; and do Thou, in Thy great goodness, grant pardon to them who seek Thy mercy, in the name of the same Thy Son, Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with Thee, world without end. Amen.

Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

  • ❤️ Sacred Heart of Jesus

For Christians, the month of June is more and more becoming a time when our place outside of the dominant culture is most evident. It has been suggested by some Christians that we dedicate the month of June to reflecting on the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I think this is a wonderful idea.

This June, let us step away from the Culture Wars, the celebration of self, the obsession with pleasure and independence. Let us instead, look to the heart of Jesus. Let us reflect on his unmerited grace and mercy. In a world of protest and anger, let us look to the bleeding heart of Christ poured out for us on the cross. Let us pray that he cleanses the “thoughts of our hearts” by the “inspiration of [His] Holy Spirit” that we might more perfectly project his love for all people into the world.

Join us this month as we daily pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

“Jesus, meek and humble of Heart. Make our hearts like unto Thine.”
