• Thank you for supporting our little mission!

Each dollar you give is going directly to aid our brothers in Christ.

In the last three weeks alone we’ve bought tools to help an electrician start a full-time job. We’ve bought work-pants to help another brother at his first full-time job in years. We’ve paid hundreds of dollars in wages as we continue to paint St. Andrew’s.

It’s a drop in the bucket against the nearly 5,000 homeless in Nashville. But, for those God has sent our way, we’ve been able to do a load of good.

Beyond the tools, beyond the money, we’ve been able to offer the church. Everyone we’ve helped shares the Lord’s baptism. Everyone we’ve helped has joined us at the Holy Table. The Good Shepherd looks after His flock!

  • 🔊 The Reality of Jesus

Reflecting on Micah’s ancient words, we acknowledge the world’s ongoing turmoil and inequalities. Despite chaotic realities, we find hope in Jesus Christ’s redemptive power and unwavering presence. Our faith transcends transactional beliefs, offering security and peace amid life’s challenges. Embracing Jesus as truth, we trust in His enduring love and seek His will with faith and patience.

  • Grant unto all those who are admitted into the fellowship of Christ’s religion, that they may eschew those things that are contrary to their profession, and follow all such things as are agreeable to the same, through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Let us never forget, that — above all we do — our greatest profession is that of being a Christian.

  • Because of your support, we were able to purchase tools and work clothes for a homeless brother starting a full-time job today.

Please pray that housing opens up for him quickly. It is challenging and not sustainable to work full time while living on the streets.

  • 🔊 Work is Good

Today, I want to delve into the concept of work and its significance in our lives. Work is not just a means to an end but a reflection of our purpose as beings created in the image of God. From the very beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth, work has been intertwined with our existence.

Despite the challenges introduced by sin, our work remains valuable and significant. Every task, big or small, can be an act of worship when approached with dedication and a desire to honor God in our labor. Let us embrace the gift of work as a means to express gratitude and participate in God’s ongoing work of creation and redemption.
