• Last week, we were able to pay $91 in wages because of your contributions. Thank you!

Because of you, a man has weekly employment for the first time in years.

  • We are very excited about meeting our neighbors on Halloween! If you’d like to join us as we fulfill our Christian duty to tell the nations about our Risen Lord, please join us on 10/31 at 4:30p at First Wesleyan Church on Shelby Ave.

We’ll have cider, candy, and $1 costumes for those in need. At 7:30p we’ll head inside for a special All Saint’s Eve Mass. Email info@christouranchor.org to volunteer. Drops-ins welcome & everyone is invited to mass.

  • Because of your support we paid a beloved son of God $50 this weekend. Thank you!

You can continue to help us by giving us work, volunteering on Saturdays, coming on Wednesdays, or by simply giving us $25 a month.

  • Eternal God, in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn but the sword of righteousness, no strength known but the strength of love: Strengthen and protect those affected by the Israel-Hamas war, and so mightily spread abroad your Spirit, that all peoples may be gathered under the banner of the Prince of Peace; to whom be dominion and glory, now and for ever. Amen.

    From our bishop:

“It is with heavy hearts that we watch the situation unfolding in Israel. The incursion of Hamas into Gaza, killing more than 1500 people and injuring many more, is a grievous and shocking event, provoking a declaration of war by Israel. I write to you today to encourage your continual prayer over the conflict, that the blood of Jesus would atone, heal, and bring peace to that region.”

  • To help fill our critical need for mentors, we are opening a new Saturday only mentorship program. Please prayerfully consider if you can dedicate one Saturday a month to spend a few hours working alongside a brother or sister in Christ. More details: here.
